All about apples

Descriptions of Artifacts

This artifact was for TKT 8623 Instructional Design I. For this artifact we were expected to create a computer based training through the program Articulate. The training that I chose to do was All About Apples. I took the NC First Grade Standard where the students were expected to learn about apples and turned it into a computer based training. In this training they would go through interactive level appropriate modules where they would learn about apples, foods made from apples, apples in seasons, apple orchards, and Johnny Appleseed. It was all on grade level and modified to meet every students needs no matter the level of the student. At the end there was a certification quiz that the students could take.

Role:

I designed the CBT on my own completely. I was in charge of aligning it with the NC standards and ensuring that the text, videos, audio, and activities were doable for every student.
